“A truly enjoyable, relaxing piece of property settled on the beautiful fresh waters of Indian Lake. Throughout the week, we were comforted by the natural air conditioning provided by the nearby ocean winds over the lake. It provided much hammock relaxation along with countless hours of cocktailing while enjoying the grill off the back deck .The girls & I really enjoyed the amazing fishing right off the lake dock including Small & Largemouth Bass, Chain Pickeral and of course the endless fun with the Sunnies. Kayak training for the girls was a breeze, later exploring the nooks and crannies of Indian Lake. A short drive away and your now at all the neighboring ocean beaches, restaurants, amusement parks, fishing charters, hiking, ferries to Block Island, Newport tourism and shopping….

An endless variety of family fun, seclusion and pure relaxation transforms into the “Best Of Both Worlds”.

“From the moment we arrived it was pure relaxation. A very nice place off the beaten path and yet the path was right around the corner. The house was very clean and spacious and had a very home like feel. Our 2 boys ages 4 and 6 were very excited to catch their first fish in minutes. The beautiful lake which is just steps away from the large deck where we spent most of our time, enjoying the weather and dinner off the grill. Catching a glimpse of wildlife like deer and swans made it feel like we were in the wilderness. Only a short ride from basically everything you would need. We had a hard time deciding whether to go to the ocean or stay at the lake. Top notch rental, We highly recommend this to anyone from young to old, this is a great place.”

“While the girls went to the beach or were catching some sunny rays on the private boat dock, me and the boys enjoyed some excellent fishing. The bass are monstrous in this lake and there are huge pike as well. They were biting right off the dock but we also explored the coves and island channels around the lake with the canoe. We even spotted a turtle the size of a manhole cover! If you decide to rent this house be sure to bring your fishing gear. The combo of ocean beaches and a private lake was ideal for us. Can’t wait to come back next year.”

“A spacious home with both wilderness and water. The birds surrounding this home are plentiful and their song just as varied. The lake is peaceful and calm with the dock tucked away in a private cove. The home is a short drive to neighboring beaches. We chose Narragansett and Scarborough as our family favorites. We also drove about 20 minutes to Newport to see Cliff Walk and the regal mansion estates of some of New England’s wealthiest families. Our goal was to get away from it all and with this rental, we succeeded returning home well rested.”

“We went to this beach house for some R&R during our vacation and we definitely got it! The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. We made use of its private dock and kayaked around the gorgeous lake. It was so calm and peaceful! It was also great to be staying in a property that is so close to everything. It was simple to get from one place to the next and never be very far from the house! I highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a private getaway that is still within close proximity to popular tourist sites. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity came up!”

“We had a wonderful time last week at the lake. The house was a perfect fit for our group and it was certainly well equipped with everything we needed. My crew spent most days at the lakefront. It is a peaceful spot for relaxing, floating on the lake and kayaking; and we were blessed with perfect weather all week.
